Multi-role?
Can it knock up a quiche, organise a Tombola and drop the kids off at school then?

This thread prompted me to look up the F35 on Wiki:
'The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is a family of single-seat, single-engine, all-weather stealth multirole fighters.'
So, do they have fighter planes that don't work when it's cold ?
The FPDC ?

Gavros 2.46
Normally they go DIRECTLY over my house in Chelmsford.
Modern day aeronautical navigation clearly does not rely on my house anymore.

The flypast was accompanied by mass formation tablets and phones in the air outside the palace. What the fucking hell drives people to take shit footage on shit devices, instead of watching it through real eyes?

Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane are tin pot? If it weren't for them, you'd be typing your post in German

It felt very tin pot army tbf. Couple of old planes. Couple of new. If they'd come in and bombed the London stadium and then did loop the loops over Buck Palace it would have impressed more.

The F35 really looks like the very serious bit of kit it is.

I thought the beeb covered the whole thing very well . A few good interviews. Some good facts, would never have guessed by 1942 there were 4000 Jamaicans in the RAF.(think I heard that right ) .

A squadron of 22 jets flew over as coming over Kew Bridge towards Heathrow, followed by another 9 jets (red arrows?), marvellous.

They flew right over the top of my house in Redbridge - plenty of people coming out of their houses to have a gander

Glad I got tipped off to walk to St Paul's, would have seen fuck all otherwise.
And just been told by my dad that my cousin for the centenary, is going to fly around the world in a plane he's building in his back garden!
I mean he isn't a loon, he's been in the RAF for 30 years and is of course West Ham.
